GENERAL FAQ
Common questions answered
Popular questions everyone wants to know before they work with me
That’s exactly why this approach exists. Most PTs treat symptoms.
I go after root causes - movement patterns, nervous system fatigue, stress load, and habit structure.
We’re not going to do what everyone else does.
We’re going to do what works for you.
Yes - because pain isn’t the only sign something’s off.
Most people have compensations they don’t even realise. By catching them early, we build strength without setbacks.
You’ll move better, feel better, and make real progress.
We build your plan around your lifestyle, not the other way around.
You don’t need 5 days a week to get results. You need the right plan, done consistently. I’ll help you achieve results with less time and effort.
Nope.
That’s why we start with a 2-session trial.
You’ll experience how I work, gain valuable insights, and get a clear plan - no pressure to continue. If it’s not the right fit, you still walk away with clarity.
No. I don’t believe in rigid meal plans that ignore your lifestyle.
Instead, I’ll help you understand what your body needs, how to fuel it sustainably, and how to build a system that works in real life, not just on paper.
You’ll learn how to eat with more flexibility, not more rules.
Absolutely. In fact, that’s one of my specialties.
We’ll start with a movement screen to understand how your injury is affecting you.
Then I’ll build a plan that works with your body, helping you train pain-free while rebuilding strength, mobility, and confidence.
Lesssgo!
Yes it is, and congratulations because you're about to make some SERIOUS gains.
Jokes aside... You don’t need to be fit or experienced.
We begin at your current level, whether you're brand new or getting back into it. My role is to guide you clearly and confidently, so it never feels overwhelming or out of reach.
No problem. This is built for whatever life throws at you.
The plan will flex with whatever comes up. You’ll never need to start over just because you took time off.
I’ll help you adjust things so you can stay consistent without being perfect.
Not at all. My approach isn’t about restriction.
We’ll work together to improve your eating habits in a way that still includes the foods and experiences you enjoy.
You won’t have to choose between results and real life - you can have both.
You’re not alone. A lot of people feel this way when they start. I was like this my whole life up until recently.
This is a private, supportive space - no pressure, no judgement.
We’ll work at your pace and build confidence one step at a time. You’ll feel stronger and more comfortable in your own skin before you know it.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING FAQ
Common questions answered
Herculean strength without killing yourself at the gym.
There’s no one-size-fits-all exercise.
It’s a personalised mix of movements that match your goals and needs.
That might include squats, lunges, push-pull exercises, carries, core training, and mobility drills.
I always structure around where you're currently at and were you want to go.
I’m an accredited strength coach with a deep background in exercise science. This isn’t rep-counting. It’s long-term transformation through professional-level coaching.
A typical session might include:
- Movement prep and mobility work
- Strength training (like trap bar deadlifts or tempo push-ups)
- Conditioning work (like sled pushes or circuit intervals)
- Cool down
Everything is scaled to suit your experience, body, and goals
Strength and conditioning is about improving how your body performs in the gym, at work, and in everyday life.
I'll help you build strength, power, endurance, mobility, and resilience so you can move better, feel better, and reduce the risk of injury.
Yes. We look at the why behind your pain, not just what hurts. Then we fix the pattern.
I combine functional movement training, strength coaching, and real-time feedback. You won’t get a PDF and be left on your own. This is hands-on.
Yes – I’ll give you bodyweight or mobility options, plus travel protocols and accountability resources.
We adapt everything to your lifestyle. No fancy gym needed
It helps your body become more capable in every area.
You’ll build lean muscle, move more efficiently, improve posture, boost energy, and reduce aches or niggles.
You’ll feel and perform better both inside and outside the gym.
If done without structure, it can lead to burnout, poor form, or injury. But when coached properly, the risks are low and the benefits far outweigh any potential risk.
That’s why my focus is holistic and always on movement quality, progression, and recovery.
Depends on your current form and nutrition.
Most people feel improvements in the first few weeks - less stiffness, better sleep, more energy.
Physical results like strength, muscle tone, or body composition shift noticeably after a few consistent months.
Lasting change happens with time, not shortcuts.
It can.
But...
It has to be paired with the right nutrition and consistency.
Strength training helps build lean muscle, which increases your resting metabolism and improves body composition over time.
The goal is sustainable, healthy fat loss, not crash diets or quick fixes.
I've seen the best results with 3-4 sessions per week.
The sweet spot depends on your lifestyle, recovery, and goals.
I’ll help you find the balance that fits into your life and delivers results without burning you out.
If you’re training in person, everything is provided.
If you’re training online, you can start with the basics a few dumbbells, resistance bands, or a kettlebell.
I’ll customise your plan to work with whatever space and gear you have.
*For best results you need access to a gym
NUTRITION FAQ
Common questions answered
Food that's nutritious and delicious.
A nutritional coach helps you build sustainable eating habits based on your goals, lifestyle, and personal challenges. My role is to guide you through the process of making better food choices, improving your relationship with food, and understanding how to fuel your body. I don’t just tell you what to eat. I teach you how to think about food in a way that supports long-term health, energy, and performance.
If you're tired of guessing, overwhelmed by conflicting advice, or stuck in the same patterns, then yes. A good coach gives you more than a plan. You get clarity, structure, accountability, and personalised support. You save time, avoid burnout, and finally start seeing progress that sticks. Most of my clients say they wish they had started sooner.
A nutritionist often works in clinical or hospital settings and usually holds a degree in nutrition science. A nutrition coach focuses more on habit change, education, and ongoing support in a real-life context. Think of a coach as someone in your corner who helps you apply nutrition knowledge in a way that fits your routine, your stress levels, and your long-term goals.
This is a coaching service, not a one-off plan. You get ongoing support, education, and adjustments based on what’s happening in your life, training, and health.
Yes, I'm both. All nutrition advice will help support your current training program or fitness goals.
Yes. We’ll work around any health conditions you’re managing, and I can coordinate with other health professionals if needed.
Yes. You’ll receive weekly meal plan templates, ideas, and meal planning guidance. No rigid plans, just flexible structure.
Chances are, it wasn’t personalised enough or lacked ongoing support. This isn’t set and forget coaching. You’ll get regular check-ins, evidence-based guidance, and real accountability.
Maybe, but only as a short-term tool.
I want you to make food choices without needing to check your phone or weigh every bite. We might use calorie tracking early on to build awareness, but the goal is to shift your habits so you can eat with confidence and clarity. No apps. No obsessing. Just a healthier relationship with food.
Absolutely. That’s the whole point of personalised coaching.
Whether you’re dairy-free, gluten-free, plant-based, or navigating more complex intolerances, we’ll build a strategy that fits your body and your lifestyle. No one-size-fits-all plans. Just something that supports your health and aligns with your values.
Maybe. But that’s not the goal.
I coach people who want lasting change. If you're chasing a quick drop on the scale for a photo or event, this probably isn’t for you. If you’re ready to feel stronger, leaner, and more energised for the long run, then let’s get started.
MOVEMENT FAQ
Common questions answered
Move like flowing water
Yes.
We'll figure out the reason behind your pain, not just what hurts.
Once we isolate the pain and the movement pattern we can start to correct it.
Movement quality is the foundation that everything else is built on. If you’re training with poor mechanics, your body will eventually compensate, which leads to plateaus, recurring injuries, or chronic tightness.
When your movement is efficient and aligned with how the body is designed to function, every rep counts. You can train harder with less risk, recover faster, and build real strength that actually transfers to your life outside the gym.
Good movement means more than just looking good during an exercise. It means your joints are stable, your muscles are working in sync, and your nervous system isn’t under constant stress.
Better movement equals better performance, plain and simple.
I combine functional movement training, strength coaching, and real-time feedback.
You won’t get a PDF and be left on your own.
My approach is very hands on and tailored to you.
I'll adapt everything to your lifestyle and current circumstances.
You feel stronger, more stable, and less fatigued. Joints stop compensating for poor form, recovery gets easier, and every rep becomes more effective.
You'll become bigger, stronger and leaner with ease.
Stretching and foam rolling can feel good temporarily, but they don’t fix the root cause.
If your body is compensating or relying on poor mechanics, those issues will keep coming back.
Functional movement coaching digs deeper.
It assesses your patterns, finds imbalances, and uses corrective strength work to rewire how you move.
This approach differs because it's more long-term results, not temporary relief.
Yes.
In fact, it’s often best to address these issues before pain shows up.
If you sit for long periods, feel tight after training, or notice certain exercises always feel awkward, there’s a movement issue in play.
Addressing this early helps prevent injury, boost performance, and improve how your body feels day to day.
No. This is what helps you make consistent progress without breaking down.
Functional movement coaching doesn’t mean you stop lifting or pushing yourself.
It means you train smarter by fixing the leaks in your system and building strength on a solid foundation.
You’ll often recover faster and perform better as a result.
Not at all. While it’s excellent for injury prevention, it’s just as useful for:
- Athletes who want to move efficiently and reduce risk
- Parents who want to feel strong, not sore
- Desk workers dealing with tightness or poor posture
- Lifters hitting a plateau and unsure why
This approach helps anyone who wants their body to work with them instead of against them
Most mobility programs focus on isolated joints or passive stretching.
But that’s like fixing one tyre and expecting the whole car to run better.
My approach is different. I look at how your entire system moves together: ankles, hips, core, shoulders, and spine. I use strength, control, and stability to create progressive change.
My fopcus is on improving how you move so you can do more of what you love, with less pain and more confidence.
PRICING & PAYMENT FAQ
Common questions answered
Yes, I accept American Express...
Because real, lasting progress takes time.
Most people come to me after years of inconsistent training, poor movement patterns, or cookie-cutter plans that did not work. It takes time to assess how your body moves, rebuild your foundation, and create new habits that actually stick.
The first few weeks focus on understanding your needs, addressing the biggest issues holding you back, and getting you moving well.
After that you begin to see and feel the results with more strength, better posture, less pain, and more energy.
12 weeks gives us the time to move beyond quick fixes and build something sustainable.
My goal is not just to help you improve but to teach you how to maintain your progress for the long term.
